John's Lego Mindstorm

My dad, John, got a giant Lego Mindstorms Set with 619 pieces. Mindstorms is Lego Technic pieces that can usually make four or five sets. There is one basic thing called 'start here.' That took about twenty or thirty minutes to build. It was fun. That robot, you can connect other pieces to it to make the shooterbot, the robogator, the colorsorter and just a regular walking robot.

You can see each one on the left. On the upper left is the shooterbot; next to it is the sorterbot. Below the shooterbot is the regular walking robot and next to the walker is the robogator.

Other Good Finds This Week

This week, my dad was at the shore and he found another Lego set called City Corner. It usually costs $60 but we got it for $12. It is missing one building, a pizza place, but still has the bike shop, bus and bus stop. There's a giant Lego city developing in my basement and I'm going to put it down there. It was fun building it.

Yesterday's Big Find!

Yesterday, I found a Lego set, sitting in a bin. It was called Jabba's Message. It was really old and unopened. Inside are three minifigures; Bib Fortuna, R2-D2, and C-3P0. Since it was so old, it could sell for $80. But, since I didn't have a Bib Fortuna or a Threepio, I kept it.
